The providers pay a fee to BeMoved when you connect internet using the BeMoved service. This does not affect the price you pay, nor the plans or options available for you to choose.

Can I choose the date to connect my internet?

Yes, you can choose the connection date. Depending on whether a technician is required or not, it's best to give as much notice as possible to ensure the connection can be made on your preferred date.

Absolutely! That's the benefit of using the BeMoved service. In just a few minutes, and without any annoying phone calls or sitting on hold, we can get your connection sorted and tick that task off your list.

Can I just transfer the internet from my old address to my new address?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely. So long as you're with Telstra, you can easily transfer your account to your new address. However you'll need to ensure the new home has the same NBN coverage etc.

How much notice do I need to give to connect internet at my new address?

It's best to give as much notice as possible, and it will also depend on whether a technician needs to come out to the home. For a self-install, we'd recommend 2-3 days notice. If you need a technician, we'd recommend at least 7 days notice.

Costs will vary depending on the plan you choose, and these costs are shown on the plans page. There is no cost to use the BeMoved service to connect your internet.

Why do I need to provide personal details?

Accepted Answer

Your personal information is required to pre-fill your internet application. We will ask for your full name, mobile phone number and email address. Once you have chosen your Telstra plan, you'll also be asked for your ID details, date of birth and address and some other credit check information. These are required by Telstra to process your application.

We do not disclose or sell your personal information to anyone, and collecting these details is for the sole purpose of arranging and facilitating your internet connection (as per the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988). BeMoved Privacy Policy.
